Hi my name is Andy and I have ridden bikes since I was 12! I am originally from Brazil! I started biking for fun in middle school and on the dirt trails in Brazil. As a bike lover, I joined the Velo 48 road cycling team in Brazil and started racing road bikes for several years. I love all bikes! I would point out I became stoked and passionate with all kind of bikes! I used to have 12 bikes inside my house hanging on the walls! 3 MTBs,2 BMXs, and 7 road bikes Lol!

Since 1996 I lived and spent a great time in different cities in US, like Honolulu-HI, NYC, LA, San Diego-LA and Phoenix-AZ, I moved to Florida in 2018 and I have worked for the bike industry since then! I just love doing it! Outside of the bike shop you will find me wearing flip flops, riding a cruiser bike with my two boys and relaxing at the Tampa bay beaches. Also, in terms of MTB riding, I love to go to Alafia park to hit some gnarly trails and test my adrenaline!lol

I have been to 36 countries and I can guarantee I have ridden bikes in all of them, sometimes taking my own road bike or finding a local rental! Besides my passion for bikes,  I also worked for the Telecommunication and IT business for more than 20 years, working for Motorola, D-Link, Ericsson and LG Eletronics! But my passion is inside a bike shop, because I love to help people to ride more bikes and working for ABC Bicycles I could not have found a more supportive team and a incredible bike shop.
