I've been road cycling since 1987 and it's my way of just escaping from the world. Just me and the open road.

I have lived most of my life in Maryland, but with the Navy I lived a bit in the Midwest. After I retired from the Navy in 2010, I ended up in Minnesota and I focused on doing more riding. However with the winters being so cold it was not always easy to ride.

After meeting my wife and living in a few different places we decided to move to FL and enjoy the warmer weather year round. We moved to St Petersburg and I started working at ABC Bicycles in October 2018.

Now I'm riding more than I've ever had and meeting some new friends.
